The Public Kitchen & Bar was created to elevate the casual dining experience while keeping a 'public' sensibility. This means sourcing the very best ingredients available and serving them in a stylish, casual environment. In keeping with our farm-to-table mission our burgers are sourced from our Managing Partner's family farm right here in Georgia. They are all-natural, 100% grass-fed beef. The Public Kitchen & Bar maximizes style inspired by iconic, classic mid-century modern design bringing vibrancy to its iconic, landmark locations. We believe quality food and service in beautiful
restaurants shouldn't just be reserved for "fine dining."
We are committed to a method of food production and distribution that is geographically localized whenever possible: 100% of our ground beef comes from right here in Glennville, Georgia!
Our Managing Partner's family farm produces all natural, free range, grass-fed beef that is hormone and antibiotic free. D.C. Durrence Farm knows a thing or two about home-grown. A fourth generation family owned and operated farm, Durrence Farm has four poultry houses, a farm-fresh road side market, and J.D. Angus Beef cattle operation. The farm grows strawberries, tomatoes, sweet corn, and a variety of fresh garden vegetables and fruits. When owners Danny and Sandra Durrence are not busy managing the farm they can be found making trips to supply the Daniel Reed restaurants with seasonal produce and beef.
